Alpha 0.2 - Arena Tweaks


Summary

Fixed a bunch of small bugs. Mostly I've been working on fleshing out the arena mode, and bringing it more in line with something like Akane or Vampire Survivors. Next up is adding in more progression for the player, and more variation in the enemies that you face.

Features + Improvements

  • L3 and R3 on PlayStation controllers now be bound
  • Options now includes controller sensitivity for aiming
  • Arena level now has phases
  • Ammo is now unlimited, and no longer drops in the arena level.
  • Timer in arena level now shows current level time, rather than countdown
  • Empty weapons now auto-reload when pressing attack
  • FMOD logo now shows up in a gross fashion on the splash screen
  • Non-magical abilities no longer use energy
  • On level end, scoreboard now highlights your most recent score, and displays your most recent score even if it wasn't in the top 10

Bugfixes

  • Pressing up in a menu no longer causes the minimap to appear when the menu is exited
  • Fixed hole at the bottom of the arena level
  • Ishtar now has a non-default hitbox
  • Removed dumb-looking healing potion particles
  • Captain no longer randomly spawns when all summoners died on a non-dungeon floor
  • Fixed bug where it was possible to fire a gun while dodge-rolling
  • Fixed bug where lamps were marked as occludable
  • Fixed bug where player's arm was not marked as occludable
  • Fixed bug where danger ribbons weren't destroyed on level restart
  • Fixed bug where grenades would hover eternally if they were aimed through a wall
  • Summoners should now target player before shooting
  • Fixed issue where trying to swap inventory with zero items would crash the game
